5 Apps that will Make your Social Media Content POP
With all the changes (aka challenges) happening in social media, it’s increasingly important that you are creating content that literally STOPS your desired audience in their tracks when scrolling through their news feed. Making sure you are sharing quality images that stand out from the rest of the noise is key to capturing the attention you’re looking for.

To help you create content that pops, I wanted to share my five absolute favorite content creation apps. Each of these apps offers a different way to create or edit photos in minutes and they will all make you look like a professional digital marketer!

I should probably note that I’m a loyal Apple user and use an iPhone, so there’s a possibility a couple of these apps may not be available if you use an Android phone. Be sure to watch the vlog for short overviews of each of these platforms.

1. Canva

Canva is available both on your desktop and as an app – I definitely prefer the desktop version. Hands down, this is the software I use more than anything else in my business at the moment. They have plenty of pre-designed templates and endless ways in which you can create and edit posts. My favorite feature is the ability to create a post for one platform and then use the “magic resize” feature to ensure  it fits every other platform on which you want to share it.

 

2. Typorama

I’ve been using this app for a year and they are continually improving it! Typorama now allows you to create images for special social media platforms so your sizing is always spot on, even for stories!  My favorite feature of this app has always been the ability to brand each image with your logo, a feature many other content creation apps haven’t offered.

3. Motion Stills

I was so thrilled when I found this app! As an iPhone user I have all these ‘live’ photos that have just enough motion to make them really fun when viewed on an apple device, but that’s where it ends. This app pulls in your live photos and allows you to turn them into a GIF so you can share the entire clip including any motion.

4. Photo Moment FX

I just discovered this gem and I am loving it! This is a photo-editing app that provides just about every feature I can imagine for editing an existing photo. From adjusting color to adding text and stickers, you’re sure to end up with the perfect photo.

5. Werble

This app is just plain AWESOME! It provides you with a variety of motion overlays that turn regular photos into cinematic pieces of art! It’s simple to learn to use, has all kinds of overlays included and more that you can purchase. Just about everything I have ever created with this gets all kinds of engagement and awe.
